WI: Roads Scholar National Course Rally

The Roads Scholar National Course Rally on Saturday, June 11th, will be a scenic 200 mile rally through the marvelous country roads west of Madison. Designed for experienced rallyists who are familiar with the RRR’s, it will have a fixed main road rule (Onto, Protection, T-rule, SAP) and some Either/Or instructions. It will not have LRI’s, Aristotle traps, or ‘Absence of the sign’ traps. The course uses both paved and high quality unpaved roads that are fun to drive. Speeds are moderate and the emphasis is on course following.
Headquarters: Country Inn & Suites by Carlson – Madison West, 2212 Deming Way, Middleton, WI (608-831-6970). A block of rooms with 2 queen beds will be held until May 19th at a special rate of $79/night plus tax. Specify “Roads Scholar Car Rally” to get this rate.
Tentative schedule:
Friday, June 10, 2016, 6 PM to 9 PM: Registration for National rally and hospitality at headquarters motel.
Saturday, June 11, 2016 – Roads Scholar National Course Rally
7 AM to 8 AM: Registration for National rally at headquarters motel 7:31 AM: Car #1 receives Route Instructions
8:01 AM: Car #1 starts rally at headquarters motel
~ 4:15 PM: Car #1 finishes rally
