NV: Northern Sierra Trek
July 8, 2023 @ 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Join the SCCA Reno Region for our Northern Sierra Trek, a non-competitive driving event as we travel through the Northern Sierra Nevada Mountains! We will start at Automotion in Reno, then Truckee, then Downieville, and end at Nevada City.
NOTE: This trek occurs on public roads. All traffic laws are to be followed, including speed limits. Speed contests are prohibited.
Tentative Schedule:
8:00 AM – Meetup at Automotion (near Grand Sierra Resort)
8:30 AM – Departing for Truckee, CA
9:30 AM – Truckee meetup at Donner Party Picnic Park
11:00 AM – Downieville stop at 114 Main St.
12:00 PM – End of Trek. Optional Lunch at Three Forks Brewery & Bakery (Nevada City). Bring extra quarters for parking meters!
