The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Rallye, a summertime tradition, returned after being put on hold last year because of COVID-19.
Chuck Larouere returned as Rallyemaster in 2021. He brought the latest technology, utilizing the RichtaGPS Rally app, so all competitors were automatically timed as they passed the “electronic” checkpoints. Seventy-seven competitors took on the challenge. This year’s rally funds went toward the Autism Society of Pittsburgh. The Society said this event brings in about 30% of their overall funding.
