OR: 47th Annual Old Spider Tour

It’s time for the Alfa Romeo Oregon Owner’s premier driving tour of the Spring, with a new 160-mile route to the North Coast! Bill Gillham is once again leading the 47th Annual Old Spider Tour. For this edition, Bill has designed a new route that comprises 160 miles of roads we (mostly) have never used for a tour or rally before. The route kicks off in the central Willamette Valley and then takes on the legendary Nestucca River Road over to the Cape Meares Lighthouse near Tillamook.
The drive should take around four hours and includes three rest breaks along the way. Afterwards, enjoy a nice lunch along the coast with your fellow travelers. Be sure to RSVP to Bill Gillham at hooligan.racing.llc@gmail.com!
The Old Spider Tour starts from the Santiam River Rest Area, Southbound I-5, West Parking Lot, south of Jefferson at approximately Milepost 241. We’ll start with a Driver’s Meeting at 950 AM, and the Tour departs at 10 AM sharp!
The run is open to all. Please bring what you have, but Old Spiders are the honored model, so they will have the privilege of leading the tour.
To our Portland Area Participants — Meet at the Baldock Rest Area just south of Wilsonville on I-5 Southbound at approximately Milepost 281 at 9 AM. Gather in the far back parking lot and be ready to depart at 9 AM.
