MA: New England Cape Codders Old Timers Regional GTA Rally

The Cape Codders Courageous aka 44th Old Timers’ Rally is a “scavenger hunt” of Cape Cod and a low-pressure event. You will be supplied with a map and clues to locations all over the Cape. The object is to determine from the clues where these locations are on the map, plan the shortest route to those locations, once at the location, answer the question(s), and do so driving the fewest miles possible.
Each two person team chooses its own pace. The distance traveled will be at least 120 miles. Above all it is hoped that you will have FUN and maybe learn some things about the Cape.
Registration begins Friday evening 730-9P and will resume Saturday morning 730-930AM.
Entry Fees are $45.00 for SCCA members and past Old Timers’ Rally participants, if received by March 30, 2018. (Note: NO entries the day of the rally) and $60.00 for non-SCCA members, non-past participants, and all late
entries. Please allow enough time for us to receive entries no later than April 5th as we will not have access to postal mail after that date. No electronic entries signatures are required.
Also, remember this is a low-tech event. Use of GPS, computers and other Internet connectable devices (PDAs, Smartphones, Tablets, etc.) to locate or answer questions OR to plot the shortest route between questions is NOT allowed.
Rooms for both Friday and Saturday nights are being held at the Holiday Inn Hyannis, Hyannis, MA, 02601, until March 23, 2018. The rate is $105.00 per night (plus taxes), when you mention the SCCA Old Timers’ Rally. The rate for rooms requested after March 23 will be their usual rate ≈ $129 per night (plus taxes).

Banquet: Held at the Holiday Inn Hyannis, dinner will be Soup or Salad, Rolls and Butter, Chef’s vegetable and starch, choice of chicken piccata or New England scrod, dessert, coffee and tea.
